This MacBook Air clone goes the extra mile by including a clone of the MacBooks box as well, along with a manual and necessary drivers. Imagine when you open this package and find that what’s inside isn’t from Cupertino at all.I wonder if this is enough to get Apple’s lawyers all hot and bothered. However, you have to give the cloner here some credit, it does have a user replaceable battery. It you want the package above, it will cost you $278. Possibly much more if you see this on Ebay and think it’s the real deal.

Here’s yet another device available in a feminine color to attract the ladies. The Blackberry Curve 8530 Smoky Violet is the perfect gift for the woman in your life this Valentine’s day. She probably likes violet over pink anyway. You can pick up the BlackBerry Curve 8530 Smoky Violet from Verizon Wireless for as little as 0.01$. If you don’t like Verizon, you can also get the Curve 8530 in a darker shade of Purple for 0.01$ from Sprint. Apparently purple is a big deal right now. Who knew?

According to Motorola, the company plans to out a whole bunch of Android phones in 2010. This render suggests that the MOTOSPLIT might be one of them. Like the Samsung Alias 2, the MOTOSPLIT features a keyboard with tiny touch screens for keys. This one can also slide out in landscape or portrait, with the mini screens updating on the fly.The downside here is that the specs will be more or less the same as the Backflip. Anyway its just a rumor for now. We’ll see if anything comes of it. If you believe it, Motorola expects the phone to be ready for Q3.

You might think that Sony is raking in the cash by selling PS3s, after all Playstation 3 sales have recently been on the rise, but the Wall Street Journal has determined that Sony is still losing money on each and every PS3 unit sold.According to the WSJ, in an analysis of Sony’s 3rd quarter financial performance, the company loses 6 cents on “every dollar of PS3 hardware sales.” So if the current PlayStation 3 sells for $299, it’s likely that Sony loses about $18 per unit.

Over the past few days Microsoft has silently cut prices on the Zune HD through an at least temporary promo. Microsoft’s media player now costs $190 for a 16GB model at Amazon. That’s $32 less than the original price. The 32GB model has also dropped to $250.Microsoft’s very own store has dropped its prices as well, to $200 for a 16GB Zune HD and $270 for a 32GB edition. It’s looking like a great time to buy a Zune. Walmart and some other retailers are also closely matching those prices on Amazon.
